For our January mission goal we collected and delivered clothing to
Princess Anne Plaza UMC for their clothes closet. For our program we
had a guest speaker from St. Columbus Ministry in Norfolk who spoke on
acceptance of those with differences.

For our January mission goal we collected money to buy gift cards
for F.O.R. Kids. Had an organizational meeting, getting set up various
opportunities for the year.
Grace

each month at 6:30 p.m.
What do food, fellowship, prayer, mission projects, and compassion have
to do with each other? In Grace Circle we look forward to being greeted by wonderful smells
of the tempting dishes, salads and desserts that await us, and to the warm fellowship
and relationships that form as we share laughter and tears. Joys and
concerns, a devotion, and prayer follow dinner and precede the business
meeting. Each month we focus on a local or international mission project
where we bring in donated items, give financial support, or sign up to help.
Our “program” consists of an inspirational topic given by one of the women
or an invited guest coming to speak about their experiences and passions.
We end the evening with a prayer, goodbyes and “see you next month.”

Opportunities ......
Children
in Social Services
We are collecting bags, small suitcases, backpacks, and similar carry-alls for children
in social service settings. These bags will allow the children a means to carry their clothing
when returning to a home environment. You may want to include a stuffed animal
as a comfort to the children who are hopefully returning to a stable, permanent
living condition. If you have any contributions or questions, please call Trina Perley at
424-3009.
