Young Adults

Recognizing Our Christian Kinship
(Are you post high-school? Age 35 or under? You are a young adult!)

Beginning April 6, join the Young Adults as we meet with others to explore what it means to be Christian Stewards. This involves more than putting money in the offering plate. Discover how you can also give of your prayers, presence and talents. We will meet in room 210 at 11 a.m. for 6 weeks (April 6 - May 11) for The Treasures of the Transformed Life class.

We also want to reestablish our monthly lunch fellowship. Our next lunch will be April 27. Meet in the hospitality area after the 11:00 service. We will go to a restaurant for a time of food and fellowship. All young adults are invited.

Our series “Surviving on Your Own” will begin this month. This class will be held each Thursday evening at 7 p.m. from April 24 through May 22. All young adults are invited to participate. Bring a friend. The sessions will include:

Getting Your Own Apartment
Managing your Finances and Credit Repair
Clothing Repair 101: Help! My button came off! My hem pulled out!
Finding your way around the kitchen
Cars: Knowing what I can do, and when to take it to a shop

We have had requests from some of our members regarding minor repairs and yard work that need to be done. If you are interested in being part of a “Network of Caring,” please contact me. We are still planning to refurbish our classroom, room 208, in the near future. Let me know when you would be available to help.
